Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived at the White House on Friday (October 17, 2025) for a high-stakes visit in which he is expected to push U.S. President Donald Trump for long-range Tomahawk missiles that can strike deep inside Russia.
Mr. Trump greeted Mr. Zelenskyy as the two briefly posed for the cameras and went inside. The meeting comes a day after Mr. Trump threw Mr. Zelensky a curveball by announcing a fresh summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
