RingCentral, a California-based cloud communications provider, which recently obtained a pan-India licence from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for providing services across all 22 telecom circles in the country, said it would substantially scale up its presence in India.
At present, RingCentral has more than 400 staff in India and the plan is to double this headcount in the next few years, the company, which opened an office in Bengaluru, said on Thursday.
This investment underscores RingCentral’s commitment to India as a pivotal centre for innovation, facilitating business collaboration and reinforcing the company’s rapid growth trajectory in the region, the company said.
