The Ministry spokesperson said that Pakistan “reserves the right to respond appropriately at a time and place of its choosing, in accordance with the Article-51 of the UN Charter, and as enshrined in international law”.

Pakistan also blamed India for the deaths of civilians in the strike, including women and children.
Separately, the Indian Charge d’Affaires in Islamabad was summoned by the Foreign Affairs Ministry to register Pakistan’s protest against the strikes. It was reportedly conveyed that the operation could threaten regional peace and stability.
Indian armed forces had hit nine terror infrastructure targets in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) under ‘Operation Sindoor’ from where terror attacks were “planned and directed” against India, the Defence Ministry announced.
