National champion Hitesh defeated France’s Makan Traore 5-0 in a 70kg semifinal bout to reach the final at the World Boxing Cup Brazil 2025 in Foz Do Iguacu.
Hitesh will face Odel Kamara of England in the summit clash.
M. Jadumani Singh was pipped 3-2 by former Asian under-22 champion Asilbek Jalilov of Uzbekistan in the 50kg semifinals.
Sachin (60kg) and Vishal (90kg), who got byes to begin from semifinals, lost to Poland’s Pawel Brach (abandoned in round two) and Uzbekistan’s Turabek Khabibullaev (5-0) respectively.
