China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi met on Monday (April 28, 2025) with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov to the sidelines of the BRICS foreign ministers’ meeting in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro, a statement from his ministry said late on Monday (April 28, 2025).
“The game between unilateralism and multilateralism is fierce, and competition between maintaining hegemony and fighting hegemony is unfolding around the world,” the statement quoted Mr. Wang as saying.
