Grasim Industries Ltd., a part of the Aditya Birla Group, reported a 76% year-on-year (YoY) growth in Q2 consolidated net profit at ₹553 crore.
Consolidated revenue for the quarter stood at ₹39,900 crore up by 17% YoY largely driven by growth in Building Materials and Chemicals businesses.
Standalone revenue for the quarter stood at ₹9,610 crore up 26% YoY, led by growth from new businesses: Paints and B2B E-commerce coupled with stable core businesses: Cellulosic Fibres and Chemicals, the company said.
