Weeks after Donald Trump released his plan to “take over“ war-torn Gaza, the U.S. President on Tuesday (February 25, 2025) shared an AI-generated video of what Gaza might look like under his government’s control.
The video shared on the social media platform Truth Social envisions the Palestinian land as a Vegas-like glamourous city with skyscrapers, bright lights, bustling markets and a golden statue of Mr. Trump as ‘Trump Gaza’ is emblazoned across the city. Elon Musk is featured multiple times in the video, including one shot where he dances as money rains on him.
Calling it Trump-Gaza, the video begins with the title card ‘Gaza 2025’ to indicate the contrast of what the area currently looks like, followed by ‘What’s next?‘ in red and blue American flag colours. It goes on to show children and families move from a devastated city to a paradise of sorts.
Earlier this month, Mr. Trump said that he wants to turn Palestine into the ‘Riviera of the Middle East‘.
The video also features glimpses of a Trump Gaza hotel, Mr. Trump and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu relaxing on the beach, and a gaudy nightlife.
The video also praises Mr. Trump through the song which says, ‘Donald is coming to set you free, bringing the light for all to see. No more tunnels, no more fear, Trump Gaza is finally here.’
