ट्विटर पर हजारों पोस्ट हैं जिनमें यात्रियों ने अपने हवाई यात्रा के अनुभव साझा किए हैं, लेकिन एक आदमी के अनुभव की हाल की एक कहानी आपका दिल पिघला देगी। अमेरिका में रहने वाले एक भारतीय प्रोफेसर गौरव सबनीस ने अपने माता-पिता को बिजनेस क्लास में उड़ान भरने के लिए टिकट उपहार में देने का अपना अनुभव सुनाया। उन्होंने ट्वीट के जरिए अपनी खुशी साझा की और बताया कि यह पहली बार था जब उन्होंने अपने माता-पिता के लिए भारत से अमेरिका के लिए उड़ान भरने के लिए बिजनेस क्लास के टिकट बुक किए थे।
अपने ट्वीट में उन्होंने कहा, “पहली बार भारत से यहां (अमेरिका) आने के लिए माता-पिता के लिए बिजनेस क्लास टिकट बुक करना।” उन्होंने ट्वीट्स के माध्यम से अपनी गर्म भावनाओं और उत्साह को व्यक्त करना जारी रखा। उन्होंने आगे कहा, “मैं विशेष रूप से मॉम के लिए पहली बार लंबी दूरी की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बिजनेस क्लास 777 यात्रा का अनुभव करने के लिए उत्साहित हूं। वह जीवन में छोटी-छोटी चीजों में खुशी ढूंढती है। जब वह उतरेगी तो वह एक उत्साहित बच्चे की तरह होगी।”
इस बीच, उन्होंने अपनी माँ के अनुभवों के माध्यम से कहानी सुनाते हुए महिलाओं को यात्रा करते समय आने वाली कठिनाइयों को भी साझा किया। उन्होंने सड़कों पर यात्रा करते समय वॉशरूम की उपलब्धता जैसी समस्याओं की ओर इशारा किया। अपने ट्वीट में उन्होंने कहा, “मुझे अब भी याद है जब मैं एक बच्चा था, मैं इस बात को लेकर असमंजस में रहता था कि पुणे और इंदौर के बीच हमारी 16-24 घंटे की ऊबड़-खाबड़ बस की सवारी के दौरान मेरी माँ ने मुश्किल से पानी क्यों पिया। जबकि मैं पानी की तरह कुछ भी पीता था। ।” उन्होंने आगे कहा, “बड़े होने के बाद ही मुझे एहसास हुआ कि कई भारतीय महिलाओं को ऐसा क्यों करना पड़ता है।”

कहानी को जारी रखते हुए, उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि उन्होंने शुरू में अपने माता-पिता के साथ बिजनेस क्लास में यात्रा करने की योजना बनाई थी, लेकिन बात नहीं बनी। हालांकि, उन्होंने कहा, “भले ही 2 साल देर से, और मेरे बिना उसके बगल में, मैं बहुत खुश हूं कि उसे क्षैतिज रूप से सोते हुए लंबी उड़ान का आनंद मिलेगा।”
